Pretty close and I think pretty good for six weeks of lessons.

My point is they are well worth attending and you will enjoy it.

Good bye and good luck! (Got that one )

Being a native French speaker, Lise’s classes are just what I wanted – informal, casual, relaxed French conversation in a pleasant setting. Lise tailors her lessons to her students’ needs while patiently extending our knowledge of the French language and customs.

My son was doing year eleven French and was struggling with the subject. We asked Lise from Let’s Speak French to come and give him a hand. Within one term his mark had gone from a D to a C+. We were all very happy with the improvement. Lise has a very gentle approach to teaching which for a 15 year old boy who was struggling with an OP subject is what is needed. She took everything at his pace going back over essential things that he may have missed at school in the classroom environment which can be very overwhelming if you are finding the subject hard to start with. I couldn’t fault Lise’s approach to tutoring and if you have a child who may need help, don’t hesitate to call her.

Lise is a very patient, enthusiastic French teacher who tailors her lessons specifically to individual abilities. I’ve really enjoyed lessons with Let’s Speak French, and learned heaps regarding grammar and vocabulary in a way that is easy to understand through putting it in practice in conversation and writing. I’ve also met some great people! I would absolutely recommend French lessons with Lise to learners of all levels.

Learning French with Lise has been an absolute joy. The classes are fun, dynamic and I look forward to them every week. I feel my speaking and vocab has improved greatly since starting lessons and also thanks to the enormous amount of extra material Lise posts on her social media pages. Her classroom setting is very friendly and comfortable and I love the fact that the class sizes are small. It’s also a great way to meet other french-speaking enthusiasts! I couldn’t recommend learning French with Lise highly enough!

Lise is a wonderful and engaging French teacher for our 7 year old daughter, Charlotte. Lise’s teaching style incorporates fun and creativity which is the perfect way for children to stay interested and learn. Charlotte absolutely loves her French lessons and is so excited to learn each week with Lise. Thank you so much Lise for your time and effort- we are so pleased to have found you!

I’ve been working with Lise for several months now and highly recommend her. She is patient with someone like me who presents with some challenges for her poor French teacher!

Despite my difficulties my spoken French is improving with Lise’s gentle help.

I was pretty much a ‘newbie’ to French when I started going to classes with Lise. I could recall a few words from high school 60 years ago and that was about it. Wow – I have learned so much in such a short time with Lise. Her passion for the French language is infectious. I love her easy manner and the way she makes a connection with her learners. She covers some basic rules but then focusses on the spoken language – so it is not just ‘book french’ but more practical. We get lots of practice in conversation about our daily lives. It’s a perfect balance and all in a great environment – nice and relaxed.

Lise was wonderful. She always went the extra mile to make sure I understood everything. You could see that she genuinely cared and wanted me to succeed.
I saw a jump in my grades which I owe credit to her. I highly recommend her to anybody studying French.

Lise began tutoring my fifteen year old son earlier this year and continues to work with him once a week since then. Lise worked to establish Oliver’s particular needs and is always flexible and happy to support him with homework, consolidation of school work or extend his learning as appropriate. Lise’s sessions with Oliver are varied and interactive, using a variety of pre-prepared resources to engage him. Oliver enjoys his sessions with her and has made excellent progress. I first contacted Lise because Oliver was struggling to keep up with French class work at school and he was becoming very anxious. Since working with Lise, he has grown in confidence and his school French grades have improved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lise to others who are considering a French tutor for their children or for themselves.

I started Year 12, struggling very much with my French exams when I decided to seek the help of a tutor. Lise built a very good rapport with me which was conducive to an effective work environment. She is a very caring, helpful and empathetic tutor and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone thinking of studying French or needing a bit of extra help at school. My results have improved significantly”

I responded to a post by Lise on a community page asking if anyone locally would be interested in French lessons. I thought it might be a nice thing for my two kids to do. It sounded like a great idea to have someone come to us in the comfort of our own home, without any pressure on the kids and see if they liked learning French. My boys and I decided we would try it for a (school) term and take it from there – that was three terms ago and we have no desire to stop now. Here’s what my boys have to say:

Lise is a great French tutor who makes it easy to learn. She is always helpful, very nice to us and makes learning French really fun. (Tommy age 9)

Lise is a wonderful teacher. I have learnt so much French. (Lachie age 6)
