French bilingual story

An audio bilingual book about ANZAC titled " Le petit Clandestin ".

the little stowaway

This is a story read in English and French of the little stowaway( le petit clandestin) by the author Vicky Bennett and Tull Suwannakit. We decided that this was such a great story that we wanted to share it in English and French. This story is read by the author Vicky Bennett and Lise Mariano her French teacher.

The Little Stowaway is set at the end of WW1 where a ragged, hungry little French orphan came out of the fog on a freezing cold Christmas night in 1918 and wandered into an Australian airmen's mess and his journey home began.

This bilingual book Deux pennies is written by Vicki Bennett and read by Vicki Bennett and Lise Mariano. It is is a true story about an Australian boy who had a dream to build a school in Villers Bretonneux during the first world war.

After World War 1, a little boy called George decided to work hard and raise two pennies to help build a school in Villers-Bretonneux, France. This town had been flattened by war and the school destroyed.

George was one of the schoolchildren at Middle Park Primary School, Melbourne, who raised money to build the Victoria School in France after World War 1.

This is a powerful and poignant story about a little boy who, with courage, hope and perseverance, helped to build this school across the oceans.
